Dine in Elk Island National Park – 2017 DinnersApproximately a 2 min read

How can you best celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday? Dine under a starry sky in one of our country’s most beautiful national parks.

Brad Smoliak is taking KITCHEN to Elk Island National Park this summer for a series of outdoor, lakeside dinners – a one of a kind culinary experience.

Elk Island National Park is known for its untouched beauty and bison that roam freely. The menu will be inspired by the early settlers that lived in the area and the Park itself. The dinners will showcase this jewel of a park that is just over a half hour from downtown Edmonton. Take a look back at photos from past Elk Island dinners.

Come for dinner or make a weekend of it, golfing during the day, camping at one of the Park’s campgrounds overnight. It is Canada’s 150th birthday this year and entrance to all national parks is free. This means you need to book and make your plans early. Check out the links below for more ideas on how you can get the most out of this experience.
