KITCHEN and Elk Island National Park have teamed up to deliver a series of unique, Alberta rich dining experiences.
Elk Island is located only 45 minutes east of Edmonton, and is not only an important refuge for bison, elk, and more than 250 bird species, but is also an oasis of calm for day picnickers, golfers and overnight campers alike. Astonin Lake, where the dinners will be held, is located in the heart of this national park.
Chef Brad Smoliak transports his KITCHEN to the Park and prepares each dinner on site. The menu is family style and includes flavours of the area, including bison. Dinner is served high on a knoll overlooking the lake; the perfect view for sunset and the stars. Watch our slide show of photos from past Elk Island Dinners.
Come for dinner, or make a weekend of it, golfing during the day, dining with us and then camping at one of the Park’s campgrounds overnight.
