Blades and Meat

In this class you get access to Butcher Corey Meyer of ACME Meat Market, Kris from Knifewear and of course, Chef Brad Smoliak.

kitchen_by_brad__DSC1152Kris will show you the hows and whys of buying an amazing Japanese chef’s knife and how to sharpen it at home. Corey Meyer will share his insider secrets on meat cuts, what to use on the grill and how to get the most out of your food budget this summer season. And then Chef Brad will share his techniques and how-to’s on marinades, mops and sauces for different types and cuts of meat. Together, we’ll help you raise the bar on your grilling this season.

We’ve got two classes to chose from, and both classes will be held at KITCHEN:

Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30pm

Summer Fare

Soon, it’s going to be hot outside and you won’t really feel like cooking, even though you want to eat well. Lighter fare is in order for this time of the year. Chef Brad will share his recipes and kitchen secrets for Vietnamese chicken “hips”, zucchini ribbon salad with mint and pecorino, goat cheese truffles with roasted pepper sangria, hobo salmon, and meringues with rhubarb.
