As the weather turns cold our thoughts here at KITCHEN turn to warm comforting foods simmering away on the stove top. There is no better way to welcome chilly mornings and frost filled nights than a warming pot of homemade soup or filling stew at the end of a quickly darkening evening.
In October, join KITCHEN for our Stocks, Soups and Stews cooking class. Learn the foundation of creating a delicious stock along with recipes to incorporate the homemade stock into a variety of dishes to suit the season. From a basic chicken stock, learn to make classic Minestrone soup, apple and butternut squash cream soup, and a thick chicken stew which can then be turned into a classic chicken pot pie.

Tickets are $145/person, plus GST, which includes food and wine/beverage pairings and all the recipes. Each class has a maximum of 8 people and runs 3-3.5 hours. These classes sell out quickly, so book today!
