It’s time to embrace your inner Baba!
There are so many different versions of Ukrainian food. But in this cooking class, we’ll share with you recipes from our extended Ukrainian family and friends, ensuring you’re well on your way to cooking like a Baba!
In this class, you will learn to make:
Dill pickle soup – sounds weird, but is brilliant
Perogies – made with potatoes and Winding Road Joseph Cheese
Cabbage rolls – with sour cabbage and bacon
Nalysknky – which are crepes stuffed with farmer’s cheese and topped with a mustard cream sauce
Nachynka – AKA Ukrainian spoon bread
“Ukrainian” gravy – a KITCHEN signature dish of wild mushrooms cooked with garlic cream
Bigos – a hunter stew with cabbage and sauerkraut
Ukrainian food is best when it is shared, so round up your friends and join us for one of two class dates:
Saturday, January 11, starting at 12:30pm – SOLD OUT
Saturday, January 18, starting at 12:30pm
There are only 8 spots per class and the cost is $145/per person + GST, which includes instruction, food tastings, wine pairings, and all of the recipes to take home.
