Elk Island is located only 45 minutes east of Edmonton, and is not only an important refuge for bison, elk, and more than 250 bird species, but is also an oasis of calm for day picnickers, golfers and overnight campers alike. Astonin Lake, where the dinners will be held, is located in the heart of this national park.
Chef Brad Smoliak transports his KITCHEN to the Park and prepares each dinner on site. The menu is family style and includes flavours of the area, including bison. Dinner is served high on a knoll overlooking the lake; the perfect view for sunset and the stars. Scroll to the bottom of this page to see photos from past Elk Island Dinners.
Come for dinner, or make a weekend of it, golfing during the day, dining with us and then camping at one of the Park’s campgrounds overnight.

Tickets are $150/person plus GST, and include admission to the Park (free to everyone this year), an Elk Island interpretive experience and a family-style dinner, paired local craft beers and lovely wines. There are 24 spots available for each dinner. All Elk Island KITCHEN dinners are private, ticketed events. The general public is not permitted.
