Pandemic Farm Garden Party

5:30pm until the sun goes down

Bring your blanket and lay it down on the soft grass between the rows of carrots, beans, peas and other vegetables at the Pandemic Farm, just west of Saint Albert. 

This is no average picnic.

A garden bucket of the best picnic dinner awaits you. 

Kick off your shoes because Five on the Side will have you up dancing in the grass.

To Start

Chilled Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, with spicy horseradish cocktail sauce, and lemon basil aioli

Kitchen Bacon, rubbed with Myrnam spice, and brown sugar

Crudites, selection of Pandemic Farms ultra-fresh vegetables with Lakeside Dairy buttermilk ranch dressing

Lakeside Dairy cheeses, Kitchen made seed crackers, 2021 harvest apple chutney

Pandemic Farm Tomatoes & herbs with cold pressed Canola oil, Kitchen made farmers cheese, and fresh baked Sourdough bread

Main

Lightly poached arctic char, served chilled with pickled rhubarb, faro & chickpea salad with dried cherries, greens and garden vegetables

or

Slow roasted AAA striploin served chilled, complimented by black pepper horseradish aioli, Brad’s steak sauce, pickled onions, potato salad with scallion grainy mustard vinaigrette

Dessert

Lemon bars with Saskatoon preserves

or

Vanilla pot au crème berries and Kiev cookies

Wine & Beer can be purchased

BYOB (wine, beer, ciders/coolers only) for a corkage fee which will be donated to the charities

Bundle of Fresh Vegetables for a cash donation can be made at the end of the evening

GPS may take you to 3 different locations, choose the one that is one km north of Sandpiper Golf Course
Bring a big blanket and festival chairs if you wish.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring rain gear if the clouds look dark and the forecast looks bleak. On the other hand – bring sunglasses!
Shoes should be made for dancing on grass or ready to kick off to dance barefoot.
We will be fogging for mosquitos but some extra mosquito spray wouldn’t hurt to throw in the bag.
This is a cash event. We do not have the capacity to handle credit cards for beverages or other purchases.
Please have a designated driver in the group.
